St. Thomas Mount
	St. Thomas Mount is the fort and it is located near the airport. It is one of the places in the city with a great historical importance. It is believed that the Apostle St. Thomas have been pierced to death here. The church named 'Our Lady of Expectations' was built here in the year 1523 by the Portuguese. Very old stone cross, known as a bleeding cross with Sassanian Pehelevi inscriptions is available to see here.
