	Birla Planetarium was built in the memory of B.M. Birla, who was the famous industrialist of his time. The planetarium is at that time the most modern in the country. It is located at Kotturpuram and situated in between Adyar and Guindy. It is one of the latest planetarium in the country. It has fully computerized projector and these depicts the heavens on a hemispherical dome. This planetarium is allowed to visit by public as well as students on many astronomy themes. Near the planetarium there is the Periyar Science and TechnologyMuseum. This museum is very interesting for the students and other science enthusiasts Programmer. It can be visited from 10:45 AM to 1:15 PM and 3:45 PM to 2:30 PM Tamil.
