	Kalashetra is a cultural institution and it was founded by Rukmini Devi Arundale in the year 1936. It is devoted to the revival of classical arts. Here students from many countries come to learn the arts and also enjoy the ancient traditional way of Indian teaching-Gurukulam. Here classical dance, music and traditional textile designing and weaving are the subjects taught in natural surroundings.
